NEMECA Z, recently founded, is the result of four major tug companies' combined effort, capable of delivering high-end harbour and open sea salvage & towage solutions.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Formed in 2020 in Piraeus, Nemeca Z is a Maritime Company founded by four leading tug owner operators with more than 100 years of experience in the sector that can boast, together, more than 250 modern harbour tugs. The Group’s prime purpose is to provide the best possible towage and salvage services in the Mediterranean with a modern fleet comprising of Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels, Ocean going tugs and harbour tugs that meet international standards and specifications.

SHAREHOLDERS

Fratelli Neri S.r.l. (www.nerigroup.net): along with a very modern tug fleet (40 tugs) that operates in the harbours of Livorno, Piombino, Costanza and Sicily, the Group also manages a wide oil deposit and storage in the harbour of Leghorn with a strong relationship with ENI and other terminal operators. Fratelli Neri owns 26,6% of Nemeca Z.

Rimorchiatori Mediterranei S.p.A. (www.rimorchiatori.it): the leader harbour towage provider in the Med Sea with a fleet of 120 tugs and a total annual revenue of above 120 million euro. The company, part of the Rimorchiatori Riuniti Group, operates in the harbours of Genoa, Salerno, Augusta, Messina, Milazzo, Ancona, Ravenna, Trieste, Malta, Floro (NOR) and Santa Marta (Colombia). Rimorchiatori Riuniti owns 26,6% of Nemeca Z.

Cafimar (www.cafimar.com): is the harbour towage operator in the harbour of Civitavecchia (Rome) and North of Sicily. The Group owns and manages 30 tugs and some of them operate in different terminals in Saudi Arabia with the oil company Saudi Aramco. Cafimar owns 26,6% of Nemeca Z.

Zouros Group (www.zouros.gr): is one of the tug operators in Greece owning a modern tug fleet of 20 units operating in the port of Thessaloniki and offshore worldwide. The Zouros Group shareholders own 20% of Nemeca Z.
